Residential Building Permits
The City of Georgetown has adopted the 2012 International Residential Code (IRC) and the 2000 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and the 2014 NEC
A building permit is required to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert, or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system.
